Our
Founder - Minister Sherida Lovelace
Minister Sherida M. Lovelace is the youngest of five siblings and
a native of the California Bay Area. Sherida completed her undergraduate
degree in Criminal Justice and Dance at San Jose State University
in 1997. She completed her Masters Degree in Public Administration
at Clark Atlanta University. Sherida currently resides in the metro-Atlanta
area and works as a Sr. Parole Officer for the State, specifically
with program-based services that provide resources and life changing
skills for Georgia's inmate population.
A former Miss Black California, Sherida has received dance training
under several professional dance instructors, including New York-based
choreographer and dance instructor, Leon Von Brown, formerly from
Atlanta Ballet. Sherida is also a member of Christian Dance Fellowship,
USA.
With an overflow of love for God and worship, Sherida successfully
completed her certification and licensing as a Minister of Dance on
October 6, 2006, under the anointed direction and mentoring of Apostle
Pamela Rutherford Hardy, an internationally known minister and teacher,
at the Eagles International Training Institute (EITI) based in Columbus,
Ohio. As a result, Sherida will serve as a mentor and Choreography
coach for all incoming Eagles (students) to the Institute in the Metro
Atlanta area.
Minister Lovelace is the founder and immediate past director of several
Georgia Worship Arts Ministries. In addition, she is the former Director
and Choreographer for the Clark Atlanta University Dancers, who were
featured in the movie, Drumline. Sherida is the Founder of Passion
for Worship Dance Ministries International, Inc., (P4WDMI) is a Ministry
of Healing, Deliverance & Restoration through Arts education & Service
to the Nation! This company of dancers and worship artists develops
and facilitates liturgical dance seminars, participates in community,
state and international events and also, conducts conferences to better
train and inspire dance and artistic ministries for pure worship!
Minister Sherida has co-directed liturgical dance productions and
has served as a principle dancer in past productions throughout her
calling in dance ministry. In December 2005 and 2006, she ministered
as a Company Dancer in Atlanta's favored Christmas production, "The
King of Glory," under the direction of the renowned Minister Barbara
Sullivan. On a mission to live out her passion for "Dance as Ministry,"
Sherida continues to equip herself in God's ordered steps as an International
Minister of Dance. Sherida will eventually dance "the perfect dance"
(Jeremiah 31:13) endowed in the anointing that will save souls, provide
deliverance, destroy yokes and set the captives free. She is committed
to empower those around her and take worship to another level while
Dancing to Serve! |
